Dr. Patricia Shelton, MD, has been a medical communicator and educator since 2014. She holds a Doctor of Medicine degree as well as a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience, both from the University of Washington in Seattle.

Dr. Shelton is passionate about making reliable scientific information accessible to everyone. She's dedicated to empowering people with the knowledge they need to improve their health and well-being. She believes strongly in the importance of taking a holistic approach to health, and is a certified yoga and meditation teacher. In addition, she's the author of the acclaimed book _The Yoga Doctor_, which was published in 2015, and also teaches anatomy and physiology at both the college and public levels.
