Key Ingredients in "Immune Support" Recognized for their Exceptional Health Properties
Immune Support, the latest addition to the Natural Cure Labs family, has recently found itself among the readership of Breast Cancer Wellness Magazine. The article, published on May 1st, details six key ingredients which form a powerful defense against viral, bacterial, and microbial infections.
The six key ingredients found in Immune Support along with the diseases they may help fight include:
L‐Lysine and Herpes Simplex: L‐lysine is an amino acid that may fight cold sores and other herpes‐simplex viruses. In double‐blind, placebo‐controlled, multicenter trials of L‐Lysine, the L‐Lysine treatment group had fewer outbreaks, diminished symptoms, and faster healing time than the control (Reference #1, 2).
Astragalus and Cardiovascular Health: Astragalus is a flowering plant and one of the 50 fundamental herbs used in traditional Chinese medicine (Reference #3). In addition to its powerful immune boosting abilities and cardiovascular health benefits (Reference #4), Astragalus has been shown to slow or prevent the growth of some cancerous cells (Reference #5).
Selenium and Asthma: Selenium has some incredible research (Reference #6) supporting its potential antiviral properties including studies on Influenza (Reference #7, 8). Even more interestingly, Selenium may play an important role in reducing the onset or severity of asthma (Reference #9, 10)
Ginseng and Diabetes: Literature suggest that Ginseng extract may support immune function by enhancing Natural Killer (NK) cell activity, the first line of defense, during an infection (Reference #11).
